it pisses me off when Hershey's Kisses melt. Even when you re-solidify them in the refrigerator, they form some funky shapes and usually get the tin foil and little tail thing totally stuck inside the chocolate. And pulling them back apart again, while invigorating, is inevitably hardly worth the effort. Other than that, Kisses, a banana, and organic coffee is pretty nice. And kind of granola.
Also, thank God 24 is over. My Monday nights are mine once again.
Charlotte called the Chloe pregnant thing reeeeeeeeeal early... silly unnecessary plot twist imho. At least Josh finally stood up for himself a little bit. If you're going to meet a terrorist on a beach... specifically on a certain beach, why would you not assume that they might be meeting you from the ocean instead of on land? Maybe Jack should have just ridden around in an SUV with two lanterns hanging out the window. And whatever happened to Wayne? That's two seasons in a row now where Wayne just kind of disappeared one episode and never showed up again.
How to make 24 interesting again: Don't avert the crisis.
This season should have ended with the Russians pounding us... or with China pulling some trump card against both of us... or the real villains being dumbass rednecks who happened to find the nuke... and then the whole country gets split in half. Just do something to SERIOUSLY change the status quo instead of, pretty much, just always leaving it where it began. Basically, I suppose, I just want to see a crossover between 24 and DMZ. DMZ is far more compelling. And one of those things that I still think deserves the critical acclaim it has been slowly gathering.
Oh... and that Marilyn girl? Man, I hated her.
And anyone want to bet that Morris isn't the father?
You'll be able to tell b/c the kid probably won't have a drill hole in his shoulder.
I watched The Old Timey Gospel Hour (or whatever) on Sunday night. Jerry Falwell's favorite tv show was, apparently, 24. And yet he went and kicked the bucket just a week before the finale. It obviously wasn't that riveting.
