yay. last post of the year. Time to move on and what not. My fish died. Cool little Betta fish, but I think he ate too much. I finally took him out of the real tank and put him in a bowl where I could just feed him a little bit, but he died anyway. bastard. My car died too. Hope it's nothing major... means I got to ride my bike to work this morning. Not so bad, but I'm dreading the cold, dark, rush-hour ride home. I watched some of MTV's Top 50 videos of the year. Props to Avril, but, damn, the "pop" in "pop music" really sucks ass these days. Nelly is a tool and a waste of space. Justin is just a Michael Jackson wannabe prick. And Christina is a slut. Not to say that I'm usually able to turn away from a Shakira video, but what the hell happened to ARTISTIC and MEANINGFUL music videos? (Can you say "Jeremy" or "Losing My Religion"?) In eight years, I guarantee you that noone is going to give a damn about New Found Glory's fat bass player or what kind of liquor Busta Rhymes wants you to pass. America breeds stupidity and apathy. Maybe we should actually learn something from those asshole terrorists instead of just blowing up their country. We're not always right, and maybe a society that makes it ok for you to be a lazy apathetic shit is the one that needs to change. Or at least stay the hell out of other people's business.
